RGP Enterprises was founded and incorporated in 2004. Its main objective was to purchase Category II and Category III production components from Delphi Automotive's two operating plants in Anderson, IN and redistribute these products to aftermarket automotive electronic rebuilders and component suppliers. The initials "RGP" were used to establish the company's tag line: "Redistributing Great Products"
Randy Parker, owner and current president of RGP Enterprises, started his professional career in the steel wire industry. His career then embarked on a path to become a process development engineer with Delphi Automotive. It was during his tenure at Delphi that he established the business contacts that were the basis for starting RGP. He worked in the automotive aftermarket supply industry with Ennis Automotive as a sales engineer before opening RGP Enterprises.
